Diane Louie was born in Newfoundland, and grew up in Connecticut. She holds degrees from Oberlin College and the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop for both poetry and fiction. Her book of prose poems, Fractal Shores, is a winner of the National Poetry Series & the 2021 John Pollard Foundation International Poetry Prize. She lives in Paris, France with her partner, a research scientist.
